Experience:

  • More than twenty years experience as a litigator   in labor/employment and business law;
  • Selected as law school's best orator in 1981;
  • Elected President of the Riverside County Bar Association in 1994;
  • Conducted hundreds of seminars on labor and employment law for different groups including attorneys, law schools, universities, employers, employees, and many private and public organizations; 
  • Created and supervised the employment and labor law department at the law firm of Thompson and Colgate (where he was an attorney and partner from (1981-2001) until going into practice on his own in 2001;
  • Instructor at University of California at Riverside for several years;
  • Created and served as President of Riverside County Bar Association's Dispute Resolution Services since 1985;
  • Served as Judge Pro Tem for the San Bernardino County Superior Court System for several years;
  • Served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association for several years;
  • Elected President of the Riverside County Bar Association's Barristers Organization in 1989. 

Education:

  • 1979: Graduated from University of California (Riverside) with B.A. in both psychology and sociology;
  • 1981: Graduated from California Western School of Law (Accredited by the American Bar Association in San Diego.
